Tyre specialist Wyzgroup has announced Wyz Smart Stock, an inventory management product developed in collaboration with Bamboo Rose, a provider of AI-based supply chain optimisation solutions.
Wyzgroup is launching Wyz Smart Stock, a business intelligence product designed for the automotive aftermarket tyre sector. It aims to optimise stock management, a task that is becoming increasingly difficult due to the ever-growing number of product SKUs, according to Pierre Guirard, chairman of Wyzgroup. “The ability to anticipate the right products and brands, to avoid missing out on new sizes, and to anticipate potential stock shortages, whilst accelerating stock turnover – all of this is made more difficult in an uncertain financial environment,” explains the CEO.
Wyzgroup did not work alone on this new product. It drew on the expertise of a decision intelligence specialist, Bamboo Rose, a French-founded software company acquired by an American firm. Bamboo Rose offers AI-based tools to optimise the supply chain. “We provide an AI component that enhances the reliability of such a tool’s recommendations,” explains Clément Guillon, CEO of Bamboo Rose. The tool uses Wyzgroup’s database and other databases to analyse stock levels.
