The WYZ Tri Challenge, the comeback !

Spanning the historic Via Appia from Rome to Brindisi, the event features 8 stages and 4 disciplines. It is an extraordinary sporting challenge that is, above all, a truly collaborative relay adventure.

In Rome, the Eternal City, every stone tells a story. Since this weekend, the WYZ teams have been writing the opening chapter of the WYZ Tri Challenge 2026.

From September 12 to 20, more than 50 WYZers will travel across central and southern Italy, discovering its rich heritage while driven by commitment, solidarity, and the desire to push their limits.

The adventure began on September 12 with an urban walk of approximately 21 kilometres through the streets of Rome. A symbolic start in a city that has witnessed the passing of centuries, marking the first steps of a remarkable journey to be experienced together.

On September 13, the pace changed as the team headed to Terracina for a stage combining hiking and nearly 130 kilometres of mountain biking. It was a more demanding challenge, one that highlighted what matters most: encouraging one another, taking turns, supporting each other, and moving forward as a team.

Rome is now behind us, but the journey has only just begun.

Ahead lie Terracina, Baia Domizia, Bonea, Melfi, Gravina in Puglia, Taranto and, finally, Brindisi. Together, the participants will cover 749 kilometres of mountain biking, alongside walking, running and swimming stages.

Many kilometres still remain, along with challenges to overcome and, above all, unforgettable memories to create together. 💙
